Accommodation, dining, leisure and SPA at Piriu'Morii
Everything a stay in Bucovina needs, in one place: 16 beds, a traditional restaurant, a sauna and a salt-water hot tub, a playground for children and an events hall.
The guesthouse is in Mănăstirea Humorului, a 15-minute drive from Gura Humorului and 6 minutes from the UNESCO monastery. Below is each service in turn, with indicative rates.
Accommodation
We offer 16 beds in double rooms on the upper floor. Every room has a private bathroom, a balcony or terrace with sun loungers, an LCD TV and Wi-Fi.
The private terrace is what makes the difference: in the morning you have your coffee looking at the forest, and in the evening the only sound is the stream. The rooms are furnished in a rustic-modern style, with wood and natural materials.

Traditional restaurant
The restaurant seats around 100 people and serves Romanian and Bucovina dishes cooked on the spot from local produce: stuffed cabbage rolls, porcini mushrooms with sour cream, trout, traditional pies, sweet bread and dumplings.
Breakfast is served in the morning, while lunch and dinner are available a la carte. Set menus can be arranged in advance for groups, including dietary or vegetarian options if you let us know when booking.
Mini-SPA, sauna and hot tub
The relaxation area has a Finnish sauna with Himalayan salt and a rustic wooden jacuzzi hot tub, available both indoors and outdoors. The salt water is brought from the Cacica Salt Mine, which is rare in this area.
SPA services are charged separately and should be booked in advance, as they need time to heat up:

Leisure and things to do
For children
A purpose-built playground with slides, swings, a sandpit and climbing frames. The yard is large and safe, and children can be watched from the terrace.
For the active
We provide mountain bikes for the trails nearby. Hikes across the Obcine hills start from the same area, along with walking trails through the Piatra Pinului and Piatra Șoimului nature reserves. We have gathered the options in our guide to the most beautiful mountain trails in Bucovina.
For quiet
A mountain park for walks, sun loungers set right by the Morii stream, a summer terrace and two gazebos, one open and one enclosed.
For evenings outdoors

NewEvents hall
A welcoming and flexible hall, suited to weddings, christenings, birthdays, private parties, team building or corporate events. Both the decor and the menus can be tailored, so every event turns out the way you want it.
The advantage of the setting: guests travelling from far away can stay overnight, so the party does not end with the drive home. The yard, the gazebos and the surrounding forest also provide a photo setting, with no need to travel elsewhere.

Frequently asked questions
Is breakfast included in the rate?
No, breakfast is optional and costs 49 lei per person. It is served in the guesthouse restaurant, with local produce. Just let us know when you book if you would like it.
How do I book the sauna and the hot tub?
They are booked in advance, as they need time to heat up. Let us know when you book the room or on arrival. Rates start at 120 lei per hour for the sauna and go up to 600 lei for the outdoor hot tub and sauna package, for three and a half hours.
Do you accept Romanian holiday vouchers?
Yes, we accept holiday vouchers from any issuer as payment for accommodation. Please let us know when you book, so we can prepare the paperwork.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 15:00 and check-out is at 12:00. If you arrive earlier or would like to leave later, just ask on arrival, we try to be flexible when we have availability.
Are families with children welcome?
Yes. There is a purpose-built playground and a large, safe yard, and children aged 0 to 10 stay free of charge in a room with two paying adults, unless an extra bed is requested. An extra bed costs 60 lei per night.
Are pets allowed?
Unfortunately, we cannot accept pets on the guesthouse premises.
How far are you from the main sights?
Humor Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is 4.6 km away, a 6-minute drive. Gura Humorului is 11.2 km, 15 minutes. Voroneț is 15.5 km, 22 minutes. All distances are on our contact page.
