What to expect from 23–26 December

The Christmas program begins on 23 December with the arrival of our guests and a traditional welcome with the famous Bucovinian poale-n brâu pastries. The evening continues with a buffet dinner featuring traditional dishes.

Christmas Eve

On 24 December, after breakfast, guests can choose from different activities depending on the weather conditions. The afternoon is dedicated to decorating the Christmas tree by the warmth of the fireplace.

The evening continues with a traditional Christmas Eve dinner, Bucovinian dishes, the arrival of Santa Claus and a folklore program with Christmas carols and traditional local customs.

Christmas Day

On 25 December, guests have the opportunity to attend the Christmas service at Humor Monastery, followed by a traditional festive Christmas meal.

In the evening, the celebration continues with a DJ party and bonfire in a festive atmosphere.

Traditional Bucovinian cuisine

Christmas in Bucovina would not be complete without traditional local food. The Piriu’Morii Christmas menus include pork and lamb dishes, Bucovinian tochitură, wild mushrooms with sour cream, turkey, traditional stuffed cabbage rolls, pickles, salads and desserts specific to the region.
